This review's going to be a bit different, since we're not super familiar with Jason's songs. So, instead of reporting the song highlights, like I usually do, I'm just going to do the ones I remember/can find on iTunes! LOL! Here goes...
Expect the Unexpected: The title cut on his latest CD. I heard it on the radio once, so I recognized it pretty quickly.
Day One: Don't really remember this one, but it was pretty easy to pick the title out. It repeated that phrase a lot. :)
Short Are the Years: A song about how time flies, I guess. A slideshow of pictures of his two daughters, Ashleigh and Emma, played overhead while he sang this. Sweet moment!
Washed by the Water: The current single. Jason tried to make a choir out of the audience. I'm not sure whether we were the desired result or not...
Love Will Have the Final Word: A catchy one! I wasn't sure what the title was at first, so thanks iTunes! ;)
Love Is Stronger: An older song, but it's one I've heard on the radio and love. So I was thrilled when he said, "I haven't done this in a while, but I got a request for it!"
This may be my shortest review yet, but I tried. It was also a bit tricky at the beginning, because the drums were cranked up so loud we could hardly hear anything else from the second row! But it was a really fun night overall.
