I have seen the Booth Brothers a few times before, so it was good to see them again! This time was extra-special because I got to bring my grandma with me. She's a huge fan. :) We got to hear some songs we'd heard before and some others too.
The Blind Man Song: My favourite Booth Brothers song. This is my third time hearing it live and it never grows old!
Jesus Saves: Ooh, but this one is right up there too! It brings the presence of the Holy Spirit into the room whenever they sing it. They do it with a RECORDING of the Collingsworth Family and it is still incredible!
Sail On: An old Imperials classic. Never heard them do it live before. Ronnie (lead singer!) sang a bass line. :)
Wildflower: A song written for Michael's wife, Vicki. It's about how even those who grew up without a father figure in their homes are still loved and accepted by the Heavenly Father. Too sweet. :)
Power in the Blood: Always good to hear the classic hymns.
Touch of the Master's Hand: A story song that also tells about how no matter how useless we feel, God can still use us.
It Is No Secret: Also an old classic. I believe we have heard it live a couple times.
It was so good to see them again! They are so down-to-earth and are a class act on stage and off!
